The course

The Kroll's Diner Bismarck Marathon attracts runners from all over the United States and Canada. The marathon course offers a scenic tour through the Missouri River Valley and follows portions of the historic Lewis and Clark Trail. The course is extremely flat and fast and allows many runners to set personal records.

Race course

The marathon route will begin and end in Sertoma Park. The route parallels the Missouri River heading south towards Briardale and then doubles back.

Limitations

The race director reserves the right to reject any entry or request additional clearance to run the race. The course will officially close at 2 p.m. Services will be provided for runners who are able to finish in 6.5 hours or less.

Early starts are not allowed.
